During an appearance on 'Live with Kelly and Ryan', the 'You're Still the One' hitmaker confesses that she needs a whole day only to prepare for a two-hour show.

AceShowbiz - Singer Shania Twain begins prepping for her concerts a full day ahead of showtime because she suffers from crippling stage fright.

The "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" hitmaker explains the only way she is able to overcome her anxiety is to methodically prepare for her shows.

"I spend my whole day preparing for the show," she told U.S. talk show "Live with Kelly and Ryan". "So it's not just a two-hour show, it's my whole day. Everything I eat, everything I drink, I'm very methodical about the course of the day and then I'm OK. It's like I'm preparing for an exam. I do my studying, I do my best."

She also credits her fans with giving her the positive vibes needed to perform.

"Once I'm out there, I'm fine," Shania said. "I can hear the fans from backstage. To be honest, the anxiety starts morphing into excitement and adrenaline and I channel it. I get out there and I'm so hyperactive because all of that... energy. And the fans have so much energy to give back and that feeds me."
