Additionally, Leslie Jones, Rachel Bloom, Awkwafina, Sterling K. Brown, Eugenio Derbez, Lil Rel Howery, Dove Cameron and Zach Woods have been tapped to voice characters in "The Angry Birds Movie" sequel.

Minaj's role is currently unknown. She is no stranger to voicing character in an animated movie, having joined the cast of "Ice Age: Continental Drift" as a mammoth named Steffie. She also starred in 2014's comedy film "The Other Woman" and "Barbershop 3" a.k.a. "Barbershop: The Next Cut".

The 36-year-old rapper is scheduled to embark on a co-headlining tour called "The Nicki Wrld Tour" in 2019.
