Ruling the list for this year are Jerry Seinfeld, who earned $57.5 million within a year, and Kevin Hart with $57 million.

AceShowbiz - Forbes has released its 2018 list of highest-paid comedians, and one particular person isn't happy about it. Kathy Griffin has called out the publication as the top ten of the list doesn't feature a single female comedian at all.

For this year, Jerry Seinfeld is once again hailed the King of Comedy after ruling the list for the second time in a row. He earned $57.5 million within a year. More than half of his earnings could be attributed to his stand up gigs which earned him more than $30 million. The remaining majority of his profits came from his 2017 Netflix deal and Hulu's streaming rights to all nine seasons of "Seinfeld".

Following closely behind the 64-year-old star was Kevin Hart, who pulled in $57 million this year. His income mostly came from his "Irresponsible Tour", which became the biggest comedy tour of the year after selling one million tickets. It gave the "Night School" star more than $30 million. His role in "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" was also financially worthwhile since the film grossed nearly $1 billion worldwide.

Dave Chappelle came in third with $35 million, followed by Chris Rock with $25 million. Ricky Gervais rounded out the top five with $20.5 million, marking his first time on the list. Also making it to the top ten of this year's list were Gabriel Iglesias, Terry Fator, Jim Gaffigan, Jeff Dunham and Sebastian Maniscalco.

In total, the top ten of highest-paid comedians made a whooping $292 million before taxes and fees, $82.5 million lower than last year's haul.

One the list was published, Kathy took to Twitter to call out Forbes for the absence of women representation in the list. Sharing a picture of the list, the comedienne wrote along with it, "No women."
