"Roma" was named Best Foreign Film and "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" won Best Animated Film.

The BFCC's top picks emerge days after "Black Panther" was crowned the best movie of the year by members of the African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA). Coogler also earned their title for Best Director, while rapper Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "All the Stars" theme tune took home Best Song.
