The 'I Love It' hitmaker fails to obtain a visa to work in Australia after he got arrested for disorderly conduct in Miami, Florida and got kicked out of Denmark over drug possession.

AceShowbiz - Controversial rapper Lil Pump has been dropped from a festival tour in Australia after he failed to obtain a visa to work in the country.

The "I Love It" hitmaker, real name Gazzy Garcia, was due to perform at the FOMO Festival, which takes in six cities in Australia and New Zealand in January (19).

However, the 18-year-old was arrested for disorderly conduct in Miami, Florida last week, end December 16, following an accusation he brought marijuana onto a plane. The incident came just two weeks after he was kicked out of Denmark when the drug was reportedly found on his tour bus.

On Thursday, December 20, the organisers of the FOMO Festival announced that the hip-hop star's legal problems and visa issues meant he would be a no-show.

"Due to recent arrests and a failure to comply with Australian work visa application requirements, FOMO regret to announce that Lil Pump is not able to perform at FOMO 2019," a statement posted on the FOMO Facebook page read.

As a result of his visa problems, the opening night of the festival in Brisbane, Australia on 4 January has been cancelled.

In September the musician claimed he would be "going to jail" for a "couple of months" following an arrest for driving without a licence as it violated the conditions of his probation. His manager confirmed he had spent time in prison but did not give any further details of his sentence.

Stars who will be appearing at FOMO include Nicki Minaj, rap duo Rae Sremmurd and pop act Loud Luxury.
