Five months after tying the knot with Karl Cook, the leading lady of 'The Big Bang Theory' shares pictures from the romantic trip on her social media account.

AceShowbiz - Actress Kaley Cuoco and her new husband Karl Cook have finally embarked on their honeymoon, five months after tying the knot.

The couple married in June, but hadn't been able to escape for the traditional post-wedding vacation until now - and the loved-up pair headed to Switzerland to celebrate the union.

Kaley took to Instagram on Friday, December 14 to share a photo of the newlyweds posing in front of a mountain, and captioned it, "The Honeymooners".

She has also been sharing several pictures and videos from the trip on her Instagram Story timeline.

"Did I wake up in a dream?" she gushed about the location. "I can't believe we are actually here."

"When your 'honeymoon' is shoulder surgery and your husband looks just as happy lol (laugh out loud)," she wrote beside an Instagram picture of herself lying in a hospital bed.

"on the road to recovery," she continued. "Thank you for all the love and support!".

The honeymoon also had to be planned around Kaley's work commitments, but she will soon have plenty of time to be spending with her husband, as her long-running TV series, "The Big Bang Theory", is set to end after its current 12th season.

The news left Kaley "heartbroken", just a month after her wedding.

"This ride has been a dream come true and as life changing as it gets," she wrote online in August. "No matter when it was going to end, my heart would have always been broken in two."

"Drowning in tears, we promise to bring you the best season yet," she added. "To the fans, our crew, families, (creator) Chuck Lorre, Warner Brothers, CBS, and everyone who has supported us for so many years, thank you. We are goin out with a bang (sic)."
