The 'All of Me' hitmaker announces that he is looking for 'a young female lead' between the age of 9 and 13 to star in a musical feature film he produced through Get Lifted Film Company.

AceShowbiz - John Legend is giving aspiring actresses the chance to star in a new movie musical by posting an open casting call online.

The "All of Me" hitmaker is developing a project called "Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey" through his production firm Get Lifted Film Co., and it seems officials are looking for a fresh face to take on the starring role, so John turned to social media to appeal for submissions.

"#GetLiftedFilmCo is looking for a young female lead to star in a musical feature film we're producing - if you know someone who would be perfect for the role submit their application to [email protected]!" he tweeted on Tuesday, December 11.

The accompanying poster revealed applicants must be black and aged between nine and 13, and, "Must be able to dance and have exceptional singing ability."

"Jingle Jangle", penned and directed by "Almost Christmas" screenwriter David E. Talbert, will go into production in London next year (19), ahead of its debut on streaming service Netflix.
