The WWE superstar doesn't name-drop the 'Bumblebee' star, but it seems like she's shading her ex in a new interview.

AceShowbiz - It seems like Nikki Bella doesn't want to have anything to do with ex John Cena again. In a new interview with BuzzFeed, the 35-year-old beauty appears to shade the 41-year-old WWE superstar with Ariana Grande's famous track "Thank U, Next".

During the interview, the outlet asked the "Total Divas" star who or what she was saying "Thank u, next" to in 2018. With no hesitation, Nikki replied, "People who come in and out of your life. I guess I gotta say, 'Thank u, next.' "

The WWE superstar didn't name-drop the "Bumblebee" star. However, many people seem to agree that Nikki was trying to shade John there by referring to him with "people who come in and out of your life."

Despite the alleged jab, Nikki put John into the list of people she's grateful for this year in her Thanksgiving post. She took to Instagram to share a slew of photos of the things in her life that she was thankful for. Among them was a snap of her enjoying the sunset in a hot tub. She didn't enjoy the beautiful scenery alone though, as she was joined by a hunky, topless man who wrapped his arm around her who looked so much like John.

Fans quickly assumed that the former couple rekindled their failed romance, but a source insisted hat Nikki and John are "very much single," adding that it was just a throwback photo as she was simply reminiscing the moments she's thankful for over the past year.

Following their split earlier this year after being together for six years, it's reported that the two stop talking to each other. However, it doesn't change the fact that Nikki feels thankful for him for the things they had before.

Nikki and John announced the separation in April. "While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another," the duo said in a statement at that time. "We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives."
