Besides performing his newly-released collaboration, the Yeezy founder also performs several of his classic songs at 'Skins' release party.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West made an unexpected appearance at the release event of XXXTENTACION's posthumous album "Skins" in Miami on Thursday night, December 6. The hip-hop mogul hit the stage after performances by Lil Wayne, PnB Rock, Trippie Redd and others.

The audience could be heard roaring when Kanye debuted live performance of his newly-released collaboration with X on "One Minute". An animated video of the song was played in the background as Kanye spitted about envy, acceptance, death and guilt. He then performed an array of classics from his discography which included "Can't Tell Me Nothing", "Blood on the Leaves" and "Father Stretch My Hands".

During his set, the Yeezy founder also invited X's mother, Cleopatra, to the stage so that he could gave her a warm hug. Cleopatra looked like she was having fun watching Kanye's surprise performance at her late son's album release party.

"Skins" hit the stores on Friday, December 7, marking X's third studio album and his full-length posthumous set. Commemorating the release of the album, Kanye released a mini-capsule collection of X-inspired merch through his fashion brand Yeezy. The collection included sweatshirts and hoodies, one of which was worn by the "Stronger" rapper during the release party.

It should be noted that the new album probably won't be the only posthumous sets that fans of X will get to listen following his death. X reportedly had a "deep archive" of unreleased material that his estate may license in the future. There was also rumors saying that he would be featured on Kanye's upcoming album "Yandhi" as well as a collaboration with Rihanna and The Weeknd.

X died on June 18 after he was gunned down by two men. A public memorial service for the rapper was held at BB&T Center in Florida on June 27 before he was laid to rest in a private funeral service on the following day.
