The leading man on 'The Big Bang Theory' unintentionally let out the on-set celebration prepared for his co-star when he tagged her a photo of her personalized pink cake.

AceShowbiz - Actor Jim Parsons accidentally ruined a secret birthday celebration for his "The Big Bang Theory" co-star Kaley Cuoco on Thursday, November 29, by prematurely sharing the cake surprise on social media.

Parsons excitedly took to Instagram to show off a photo of the personalised pink cake producers had prepared for the on set celebration, and accidentally tagged birthday girl Kaley - alerting her to the party plans before her cast and crew could catch her off-guard.

"Almost time, @kaleycuoco ... shhhhh," he captioned the snap.

Followers were quick to point out his mistake, but it was too late, as Kaley immediately received an Instagram notification and saw the sweet treat before the surprise presentation.

Parsons subsequently returned to social media to upload a picture of the actress looking less than impressed as she held up her cell phone, which had Jim's image of her cake on full view.

"Oops @kaleycuoco," he wrote beside the photo.

Despite putting on a glum look for the camera, Kaley proved she wasn't upset about the spoiled surprise, which had actually made her burst into laughter.

"ON THE FLOOR," she commented, indicating the level of her amusement.

The on set celebrations for Kaley, who turned 33 on Friday, took place in the middle of filming for the hit sitcom's 12th and final season.

She previously admitted the news of "The Big Bang Theory"'s impending end had broken her heart, as she had grown so close to all of her castmates.

"I have cried a lot of tears," she previously told Entertainment Tonight. "I mean, it's 12 years of my life. We've all had a lot of ups and downs in the last 12 years. We're a very close group and, you know, we have a legacy of the show."

"It's something I'll have for the rest of my life," Kaley added. "It's something I'll probably compare every project to, like nothing will be like Big Bang. It just is what it is. It's made me who I am. It's given me so many great things and blessings and I'll be very indebted to the show and (creator) Chuck Lorre forever."
