In circulating photos, Beth Chapman is seen crying after she underwent emergency surgery to remove a life-threatening blockage in her throat.

AceShowbiz - Dog the Bounty Hunter's wife Beth Chapman is understandably devastated after learning that her cancer has returned. The star of A&E's reality show "Dog the Bounty Hunter" was pictured crying in hospital bed after her scary throat surgery on Tuesday, November 27.

In the photos obtained by Radar Online, Beth was wheeled out of surgery by medical staff at Cedars-Senai Medical Center. In another heartbreaking picture, she was seen getting emotional as a man, likely her husband Duane Chapman a.k.a. Dog the Bounty Hunter, placed his hand on her head to comfort her.

Beth was rushed to the hospital on early Tuesday morning after she had difficulty to breathe overnight. Doctors discovered a life-threatening blockage in her throat and she subsequently underwent an emergency surgery to remove the large mass that's obstructing her airways. Her son Duane Lee tearfully confirmed her situation as "life-threatening" while the surgery was being performed.

Following the surgery, doctors found out that her cancer has returned. Radar Online reports that Beth has undergone a biopsy to see if the cancer has spread, and now Beth and Dog are anxiously awaiting the test results.

Dog said after the surgery, "They cut a hole in her throat so she can breathe. She can still talk, so she's doing the best she can and remains incredibly strong." He added that the "giant lump [which] was discovered in her throat...was twice the size as the first last year."

Back in September 2017, the 51-year-old reality TV star was diagnosed with stage II throat cancer. After undergoing surgery to remove a plum-sized cancerous tumor from her neck in the same year, she was declared to be cancer free. According to The Blast, Beth "felt sick" for the past few weeks and came to Los Angeles to see a specialist.
