The NFL star defends the British retired soccer player after the latter shared a picture of himself kissing his youngest child on the lips.

AceShowbiz - Tom Brady is nothing but supportive to fellow athlete David Beckham. Although many criticized the former captain of English national soccer team after he posted a photo of him kissing his daughter on the lips, the NFL quarterback took a different route by going mushy over the father-daughter interaction.
Offering a positive message amid haters, the husband of Gisele Bundchen simply wrote, "Dad and daughter. So sweet." His friendly response was also resounded by many of Beckham’s followers. One wrote, "People who criticize this are being silly and should mind their own business," while another pointed out, "Proper genuine loving bond going on in this pic. Doting Dad and loving daughter living their best life."
Beckham faced public backlash for his Instagram post dated November 26. While he was embracing the Christmas spirit, many placed their attention to the photo he uploaded. One critic questioned, "Why are they kissing??" Another pointed out, "Weird - it's improper for a parent to kiss their kids in the lips; on the forehead/cheeks is cute though." A third cried, "This is not right!"
Brady himself had been put in similar situation back in February 2018. At the time, people got into heated debate over a scene on his Facebook docuseries "Tom vs. Time." The scene at the center of the debate displayed the father of three asking for a longer kiss from his 11-year-old son, John, after the latter gave him what he called a peck on his lips.
Beckham and Brady weren’t the only famous athletes met with criticism for their family affection. Around the same time Beckham was slammed for his photo, NBA star Dwyane Wade was told off by Internet users for kissing his newborn daughter, Kaavia, on the lips. "Take your lips off of that child kids are so sensitive nowadays," one warned. "I know it's your baby but don't kiss the baby on the mouth, you've had kids before you should know better," another voiced similar disagreement.
