The song will be included on four-track compilation album 'Global Citizen EP 1', which will feature David Guetta and Stromzy among others.

AceShowbiz - Coldplay has returned with new music and a brand new name. Performing under the name Los Unidades, the four-piece band released a collaboration with Pharrell Williams and Jozzy entitled "E-Lo" as a part of compilation album "Global Citizen EP 1".

The song finds frontman Chris Martin delivering inspirational lyrics over a lithe pop groove, singing about hope for world peace. "And there's nowhere I'd rather be/ Gonna raise up one hand and raise the other/ Hurt me outside, inside I'm free," he sings on the bubbling track. "And there's no enemy/ Everyone is my brother/ When the truth comes to set me free/ And we're not going to fall in and out with each other."

"Global Citizen EP 1" will hit the shelves on November 30 via Parlophone Records and Atlantic Records. Besides Coldplay and Pharrell, it will feature David Guetta, Wizkid and Stargate. The British band has one additional song on the album, a collaboration with Cassper Nyovest, Stormzy and Jess Kent on "Timbuktu", still under the name Los Unidades.

"For hundred of years, we have witnessed the power of music in bringing people together to drive activism and demand change," said Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans in a statement. "We are thrilled to release 'Global Citizen EP 1' with new songs from these incredible artists who stand with us in the fight to defeat extreme poverty."

Proceeds from the EP will benefit Global Citizen's various efforts to end extreme poverty around the world by 2030 and improve matters in gender equality, education, water and sanitation.

The organization will also hold its annual festival in South Africa next month, with Chris serving as the curator and performer. Also taking the stage at the event this year are The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes and Cardi B among others.
