The 'Mary Queen of Scots' actress also admits that she did cause a scene as well last Christmas.

AceShowbiz - Margot Robbie may have stellar acting skills, but she apparently have almost zero cooking skills. The "Suicide Squad" actress admits in a new interview that she was forced to stay away from kitchen after almost setting the kitchen on fire during last year's Thanksgiving.

"Last year for our Friendsgiving, all the 'orphans' in town, we just (cooked) a big feast. I was in charge of the yams and I lit them on fire," the acclaimed actress revealed to USA Today on Thursday, November 22. "It was terrible. So this year we're dividing up who's cooking what and I was like, 'I'd really like to give the yams a go again!' "

The "Mary Queen of Scots" star continued that she did cause a scene as well last Christmas. "I lit the ham on fire, which, again I was like, 'Can I do the ham this year?' " Her friends' responses, however, were pretty much predictable.

"And everyone was like, 'We want to be able to eat the food, we don't want it to be charcoal and just have nothing,' " the Australian beauty shared.

Margot said that her friends kept giving him some sub-par jobs, but she wanted to play a bigger role. "They're always like, 'You can do a cheese board! Or you can pick the wine out for everyone!' And I was like, 'No, I want to be in the kitchen!' " she laughed. "But yeah, I suck in the kitchen."

Margot will next be seen in "Mary Queen of Scots" in which she stars opposite Saoirse Ronan. In the historical drama, Margot plays Queen Elizabeth I with Saoirse portraying Mary Stuart. Based on John Guy's biography "Queen of Scots: The True Life of Mary Stuart". the flick is set to hit U.S. theaters on December 7.
