AceShowbiz - LFO's last living member Brad Fischetti has paid tribute to his bandmate Devin Lima following the latter's passing on early Wednesday morning, November 21. Confirming the sad news, he posted a heartbreaking statement and video on LFO's official YouTube page.

"It is with a truly broken heart that that I confirm that Harold 'Devin' Lima passed away early this morning after a valiant battle with cancer," Brad says in the statement, before remembering his late bandmate, "Devin, as the world knows him, was an extraordinary talent, a doting father to his six children, and a loving partner to their mother. He was a beloved son and brother and a friend to so many."

"On behalf of the LFO family, thank you for the tremendous outpouring of love from friends, family, fans, media, and those in the music industry," Brad adds.

He goes on recalling one of his last conversations with Devin, "A few days before he passed away he said to me, 'Bro, when it's over, just tell them I disappeared.' " In Devin's words, Brad concludes the statement, "My friends - Harold 'Devin' Lima has disappeared."

In the video, Brad solemnly tells viewers that Devin "will be greatly missed by many." He takes a deep breath before continuing, "And I will miss him. And I will honor him. And I know right now he stands in the presence of greatness in the midst of heaven talking to Jesus saying, 'Hey watch out for my friends.' That's where I find peace."

Devin was diagnosed with stage four adrenal cancer in October 2017 and had one kidney removed. Brad wrote on his website last year, "We were in the midst of planning the 2nd and 3rd legs of the tour when Devin was diagnosed with a very large tumor in his abdomen." He also took to Twitter to ask fans for prayers for Devin, writing, "[prayer emoji][heart enoji] 4 Devin please."

Devin's mother Filomena told Us Weekly after his passing, "My son has passed away. His fiancee was living with him and let us know that he passed at 2.45 in the morning. He was struggling for 13 months since his cancer diagnosis. The family is not good."

Devin joined LFO in 1999 after Brian Gillis left the group. Together with Brad and Rich Cronin, he enjoyed the group's success with their hits "Summer Girls", "Girl on TV" and "Every Other Time". Rich died in 2010 after battling leukemia.
