The late rapper's close friend and longtime manager reveals in a tweet that he was 'so excited' to hear the song after its release.

AceShowbiz - Mac Miller apparently was working on a few music projects prior to his death. A preview of his posthumous collaboration with Young Thug titled "Dollars" recently surfaced on the internet and caused social media frenzy.

The snippet first made its way round after an Instagram user by the name Harold played the song while he was doing Live. It started off with Thug delivering his bars over mid-tempo beat, "I was bringing in the racks and she was steady shopping/ Big bills, all colors, Nicki Minaj-ing/ I ain't tripping b***h/ Since a kid I been a dresser, thousand island."

Miller could be hear rapping towards the end of the clip, though his part was definitely shorter than his collaborator. "While I'm sleeping/ Swimming in the living room like the deep end," he displayed his signature dark-themed bars. "All I ever needed was an alibi (yeah, yeah)."

After the snippet went viral, the late rapper's close friend and longtime manager, Quentin Cuff, confirmed the collaboration on Twitter and gave some insight into it. "Crazy that Mac was waiting to even hear these songs in full. He was so excited for these to come out. I love you bro," he said, revealing that there's another collaboration with Gunna.

There is currently no word as to when fans will get to hear the full version of the collaboration.

Miller died of drug overdose on September 7. Recently, Ty Dolla $ign opened up in an interview about the death of his fellow rapper, explaining that he was in a positive place in the weeks leading up to his death. "He was in good spirits," the "Sucker for Pain" spitter recalled working on a joint project with Miller at the Chalice Recording Studios in Los Angeles. "He had everybody in the room dying laughing."
