Both the 'God Is a Woman' singer and her mom enter a war of words with the journalist after he slams Ellen DeGeneres and Little Mix.

AceShowbiz - Piers Morgan has engaged in yet another Twitter spat thanks to his controversial comment. This time, the 52-year-old journalist entered a war of words with both Ariana Grande and her mom on Wednesday, November 21 after he slammed Ellen DeGeneres and Little Mix.

It all began after Piers called out double standards in Hollywood by using a video of Ellen admiring male celebrities' bodies in honor of `International Men's Day. In his tweet, he called "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" host's video "the hypocrisy of modern feminism laid bare." Things took to a worse turn after he accused Little Mix of stealing a photo idea from Dixie Chicks' famous nude Rolling Stone cover.

Having none of it, Joan Grande hit back at the "Good Morning Britain" host, dubbing him "disgraceful" for coming at Ellen and Little Mix. "Didn't your mother ever teach you, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it!" she wrote in response to the tweet.

Never one to shy away from attention, Piers responded by doubling down on his criticism towards Ellen and the British girl group. "Ellen's a hypocrite and as for Little Mix, I'd just prefer they use their talent to sell records rather than their nudity," he said, before attempting to curry favor with her. "As you own daughter does...!"

Noticing the war between her mom and Piers, Ariana quickly jumped in to defend the ladies because "women can be sexual AND talented, naked and dignified." She said, "we will keep fighting til people understand. i say this w all due respect but thank u, next." Responding to her tweet, Piers admitted that women could do anything they can, but "if they/you use nudity to sell records to impressionable you female fans, I'll continue to call them/you out on it."

Ariana later accused the journalist in another tweet of using remarks about female celebrities to get his own name in headlines. "I look forward to the day you realize there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do," she tweeted. "I think that'll be a beautiful thing for you and your career or what's left of it."

Not stopping there, the "God Is a Woman" singer also accused Piers of hypocrisy by pointing out a Twitter pic of him posing on the ground partially naked to promote his new column. "When you do it, it's OK though, right?" she commented, to whom Piers jokingly replied by asking if the picture was her screensaver. Ariana shot back, "nah and it ain't your girl's either i can promise you that."

Ellen herself has seen Ariana and her mother defending her against Piers, so she gave both women a sweet shoutout on Twitter. "I [love emoji] you, @JoanGrande and @ArianaGrande, and everyone in this world who celebrates all people inclusively," she said.
