The unlikely pair start to get more cozy than before after the 'Mad Men' star ended his previous romance.

AceShowbiz - Things between Jon Hamm and Sarah Silverman might have escalated big time lately. A new report suggests that the longtime pals have become friends with benefits after being seen getting more than cozy at two different "La La Land" events.

"They've known each other a long time and always been close," says a source to Radar Online. "But Jon was in a longtime relationship until a couple of years ago."

After the "Mad Men" actor's 18-year-old romance with Jennifer Westfeldt ended in 2015, "the door then opened for Jon and Sarah." The source continues saying, "They're comfortable with one another -- so why not?"

The unlikely pair attended the premiere of "Ralph Breaks the Internet", in which the comedienne lends her voice to Vanellope von Schweetz, together on November 6. The two were spotted together again three days later when the 48-year-old actress was honored with the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Sarah previously dated comedian and fellow "Saturday Night Live" writer Dave Attell before moving on with Jimmy Kimmel in 2002. The couple split in 2008 before getting back together only to split once again in 2009. In 2014, she confirmed that she was in relationship with actor Michael Sheen before separating in February this year.

Being a supportive ex, Jimmy was also present at Sarah's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. During the event, the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host even gave a speech in which he sang his Emmy-winning ex praises. "Sarah, you really do deserve this honor. You rank among the great comedians. I think you are a vastly underrated and excellent actress. You sing, you write, you kind of play guitar, you really can do it all," he said.
