'The cause of death was deferred pending additional tests,' that Los Angeles coroner's officer reveals.

AceShowbiz - Kim Porter's sudden death shocked everyone last week. Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs' ex-girlfriend, who passed on Thursday, November 15, was immediately brought for an autopsy to establish her cause of death. The autopsy took place on Friday, and it has been reported that Los Angeles coroner's officer has yet to determine the cause of Porter's death.

"On Nov. 16, an autopsy was performed on Porter. The cause of death was deferred pending additional tests. Porter's body has since been released from our facility," a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner said in a statement on Monday.

The model and actress is set to be buried in Columbus, Georgia.

The model, who shares three children with P. Diddy, was found unresponsive in her home in the San Fernando Valley area of the city. She was later pronounced dead at 11.40 A.M. local time. The Los Angeles Police Department said that no foul play was suspected regarding her death.

Previous report suggested that Kim's health status was described as a cardiac arrest in an emergency dispatch call. TMZ also revealed that the 47-year-old had been battling pneumonia for some time.

Despite splitting, Kim and P. Diddy maintain a good relationship while co-parenting their children, son Christian, 20, and twin daughters D'Lila Star and Jessie James, who will turn 12 next month. They are joined by 27-year-old Quincy Brown, her son with singer and record producer Al B. Sure.

Diddy recently gathered with his closest friends to pay tribute to his ex-girlfriend. The rap mogul, who dated Kim on and off for 13 years, paid tribute to her on social media and also hosted a Welcome Home Celebration on Sunday, November 18 at his Bel-Air mansion in California.

Kimora Lee Simmons, Pharrell Williams, Mary J. Blige and French Montana were among the guests. They were greeted by a candlelit walkway and several photos of the late model.
