AceShowbiz - Drake made amends with fans in Miami, Florida on Tuesday, November 13 by reuniting with his mentor Lil Wayne onstage, weeks after postponing the original concert date at late notice.
The "God's Plan" hitmaker had been expected to grace the stage for two gigs at the American Airlines Arena with rap trio Migos in September, but the plans abruptly changed hours before the first show was due to take place as Drake fell ill.
The dates were rebooked for this week, and during his return to Miami, the Canadian superstar served up a real treat for attendees as he was joined by special guests including DJ Khaled for "I'm On One", and reggaeton artist Bad Bunny for their first live rendition of their recent collaboration "Mia".
Drake then introduced Lil Wayne to the stage for a lively performance of the "Lollipop" legend's 2009 classic, "We Be Steady Mobbin", and "Uproar".

The headliner also took a moment to share his gratitude for Wayne's guidance and friendship after signing the 32 year old to his Young Money Entertainment label in 2009

"Miami, make some motherf**king noise for my brother," Drake told the crowd. "(He's) the reason any of this s**t is possible and the greatest rapper of all-time. He goes by the name of Lil Wayne."

The action onstage wasn't the only headline-grabbing news from Drake's triumphant return to the American Airlines Arena - local reports suggest a man sustained injuries after falling from the second floor of the venue. At the time of the incident, the unnamed male had reportedly been running from a security guard after he was accused of "trespassing".
