Suspect in XXXTENTATION's Murder Case to Stand Trial

Michael Boatwright, one of four suspects charged with armed robbery in connection to the 'Sad!' rapper's murder, was ordered to undergo a mental exam by a judge back in August.

AceShowbiz - A suspect in slain rapper XXXTENTACION's murder case has been found competent to stand trial.

The 20-year-old hip-hop star, real name Jahseh Onfroy, was gunned down outside a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida in June, and suspects Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome, Dedrick Williams and Robert Allen were subsequently charged with murder and armed robbery with a firearm.

In August, a judge ordered Boatwright to undergo a mental exam to determine if he understood the charges against him, and according to The Blast, he has now been deemed competent to stand trial.

The criminal case against Boatwright will now move forward.
