The new tattoo on her hand is a drawing of what appears to be a feather. It might not mean much for casual fans, but it actually used to be a "Reborn" tattoo which she got with Pete over the summer. Thus, it means that she has covered the matching tattoo up.
Along with the clip, the "No Tears Left to Cry" singer expressed her gratefulness for her friends in the caption. "I have no words to describe how much I love and am eternally grateful for these human beings who constantly help me turn lemons into lemonade and literally heal me and put me back together," she said while tagging her friends' account. She didn't mention Pete's name, obviously.
This isn't the first time Ariana has tried to get rid off the tattoos that reminded her of the relationship that she had with the "Saturday Night Live" star. While filming NBC's special "A Very Wicked Halloween" earlier this month, the "Side to Side" hitmaker covered up her "Pete" tattoo with a Band-Aid.
It remains to be seen whether Ariana is going to cover up other tattoos that are inspired by their whirlwind romance. Together, the former couple shares a total of five designs and nine tattoos.
Ariana and Pete broke up in early October, with reports suggesting that the former was the one who call it quit first. Frankie Grande recently offered an update on her sister after ending her engagement. "Ariana is doing well," he told Entertainment Tonight at Bette Midler's Hulaween party. "She's working hard, getting prepped for tour.. and another album. Like, it's too much! Lots of stuff is going on."
