The New York-born songstress debuts a poignant ballad called 'How to Disappear' at an Apple event, with her collaborator playing the piano.

AceShowbiz - Audience members at the a recent Apple event were treated to Lana Del Rey's new material when she played surprise performance at the event which introduced the new Macbook Air, Mac Mini and iPad pro. During her set, the songstress performed a new poignant ballad called "How to Disappear" along with her collaborator Jack Antonoff.

The song is a stripped-down narrative ballad which showcases Lana's signature dreamy, chilling vocals. The lyrics itself talks about her mixed feelings towards a vulnerable man whom she loves. "Jim met me down at the training yard/ The cuts on his face 'cause he fought too hard/ I know he's in over his head," she sings. "But I love that man like nobody can."

After finishing her rendition of the new song, she launched into a recently-released single "Venice B***h". Before kicking of her performance, Lana joked that she couldn't say the title of the song because it involves swearing. "I call it 'Venice' for now," she told the crowd.

Both songs will be included on her forthcoming album "Norman F***ing Rockwell" alongside "Mariners Apartment Complex" and "Sylvia Plath". In an interview with Zane Lowe of Beats 1, Lana explained that she came up with the title of the album during her studio sessions with Jack.

"Working with Jack, I was in a little bit of a lighter mood because he was so funny," the New York-born singer said. "So the title track is called 'Norman F***ing Rockwell' and it's kind of about this guy who is such a genius artist but he think he's the s**t and he knows it and he like won't shut up talking about it."

"Norman F***ing Rockwell" doesn't have an official release date as of now, but Lana previously said that she didn't "think [the album] will be out until the top of [2019]."
