In his statement, the 'Thirteen' actor reveals that he has apologized to the actress after she accused him of putting her hand on his erect penis on the set of TV pilot 'Mogulettes'.

AceShowbiz - Actor Kip Pardue has apologised after actress Sarah Scott accused him of sexual misconduct earlier this year.

In May, Scott alleged Pardue became aroused during a sex scene they were shooting on the set of TV pilot "Mogulettes" and put her hand on his erect penis. Scott also claims he then invited her to his dressing room and masturbated in front of her, while telling her, "This isn't a #MeToo thing. I'm not your employer. It's not like I can fire you."

Following the alleged misconduct, Scott reported the incident to producers, the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), and filed a police report with the Hermosa Beach Police Department. However, she is troubled by how slow the process has been.

"In Hollywood terms, I am not a name, but I am a working actress," she tells the Los Angeles Times. "This is how I make my money, and help support my family. I've been out in Los Angeles pounding the pavement as a proud union member for 15 years. I was sexually violated while at work, and even though I had the courage to tell anyone and everyone who'd listen, as time went on it seemed like I had very little control in truly preventing this from happening to anyone else."

Pardue has apologised to Scott, insisting he misunderstood their sex scene together.

"I clearly misread the situation during a sex scene on set and have apologized to Sarah," a statement provided by his representative David Shane reads. "I never intended to offend her in any way and deeply regret my actions and have learned from my behavior."

According to the Times, Scott and Pardue are heading for mediation through SAG-AFTRA.
