AceShowbiz - Gabrielle Union rang in her 46th birthday with her loved ones at a 90s-themed party on Saturday night, October 27 in Miami. What she didn't know during the celebration was the fact that her friends surprised her by bringing the one and only Lil' Kim to serenade her.
Dressed as Gwen Stefani, the actress and activist really had no idea that she would get surprised by her friends at the bash, as she was seen in a video dancing nonchalantly with her friends. She looked a little bit confused when the music suddenly stopped, but soon screamed in excitement after the female emcee made her way in. Union even threw her hands up in the air upon seeing Kim.
Meanwhile, Kim delivered a rendition of her song "The Jump Off" before launching into her other hit songs. Following her rap session, the "Lady Marmalade" spitter gave a speech about her friendship with Union. During their first meeting, Kim thought the 46-year-old was a "boogie," but surprised after she learned how down to earth she was.
"I said 'Damn, I love this b***h.' God bless you," the raptress, who rocked a sparkly gold bodysuit, said. "May this be the best birthday of her life."
Union also shared a video of her and Kim jamming together at the bash as her husband Dwyane Wade, who dressed as Will Smith from his "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" days, filmed the moment. The two beauties wrapped things up with a warm hug while declaring how much they love each other.
"Yes. In. Deed. EPIC NIGHT! Thank you @lilkimthequeenbee for being the legend you are," the "Breaking In" star captioned the post.
Ahead of the party, Union shared a video of herself dancing to No Doubt's song "Just a Girl" while dressed as Stefani. The latter took notice of the video and re-posted it on her Instagram account, captioning it, "obviously this made me sooooo happy!! Gx."
