The rapper and actor was previously booked for simple assault, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct.

AceShowbiz - Rapper T.I. has scored a small victory in his assault case after prosecutors dropped a misdemeanour charge against him.

The "Whatever You Like" hitmaker, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., was taken into custody back in May, after he was refused entry into the Eagles Landing Country Club in Georgia, where he owns a home.

T.I., who had forgotten his keys, was accused of angrily arguing with security guard Euwan James, who reported the star to police officers, leading to his booking for simple assault, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct.

In August, T.I. pleaded not guilty and, according to TMZ, the assault charge has now been dropped.
