AceShowbiz - Celebrities and big names in the footwear industry flocked the Ziegfeld Ballroom on October 11 to attend the annual Fashion Footwear Association of New York's Shoes on Sale Gala. The event was held to raise funds for breast cancer research, honor those who made contributions to the cause and recognized outstanding achievement in fashion.

Among big names who attended the event were Katy Perry and Jessica Simpson. The former, who serves as the 2018 FFANY ambassador looks stunning in her all-pink ensemble. Meanwhile, the "Price of Beauty" star still looked as gorgeous as ever with her growing baby bump.

During the event, Katy took the stage to present Tabitha Simmons with Designer of the Year. "I keep returning to Tabitha's collections because they are a gateway to a fantasy world, one each of us can all reach via a knee-high lace-up boot or velvet pump," she gushed over the shoes designer, calling her a "shoe shaman."

While Katy was there as a presenter, Jessica was honored for her achievements and support in raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. "This is one of the most important causes, especially in my family both of my grandmothers have had breast cancer," she said at the event. "I feel like everyone coming together in the industry is a powerful thing and it does make an impact. We need to find a cure because we deserve it."

Other honorees at the event include Olivia Palermo, who was presented with the Influential Figure in Fashion Award, and Famous Footwear, which received the Retailer of the Year Award.
