The 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' actor has taken to Twitter to explain he was forced to scrap his 'Kevin Hart: The Irresponsible Tour' show in the city because of Hurricane Michael.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart has been forced to cancel two tour dates in Florida as the city has been hit by Hurricane Michael.

The tropical storm, the third-strongest to hit the U.S. mainland in recorded history, has battered coastal areas in northwest Florida since making landfall on Wednesday, October 10, when it also passed through Pensacola, and Tallahassee.

As a result the Night School star, 39, has been forced to cancel Thursday and Friday's (October 12) "Kevin Hart: The Irresponsible Tour" dates in the cities.

"Due to Hurricane Michael, 'Kevin Hart's Irresponsible Tour' will not be taking place as scheduled on Friday, October 12th," a statement posted on Tallahassee's Donald L. Tucker Civic Center's website read. "More information will soon follow after the storm passes."

Hurricane Michael has flooded Florida beach towns, snapped trees, and ripped the roofs off houses due to winds of 155 miles (250 kilometres) per hour.

Two people, including a child, have been killed by falling trees, while almost 500,000 people in Florida, Alabama and Georgia, have been left without electricity.
