'Happy birthday Angel,' the Canadian singer writes alongside a series of never-before-seen pictures of the lovebirds.

AceShowbiz - The Weeknd makes sure that he is the first person to wish his on-again girlfriend Bella Hadid a happy birthday when she turned 22 on Tuesday, October 9. Once the clock struck midnight, the Canadian singer took to Instagram to share a series of never-before-seen photos of him and his model lady and let the world know how much he loves her.
One of the posts included a video of him and Bella talking at a bar before he sweetly kissed her cheek and lips. There was also a behind-the-scenes picture from his "In the Night" music video, on which Bella starred on it. The Victoria's Secret catwalker was seen bathing in rose petals as she kissed The Weeknd's hand.
Some of the images were taken during the lovebirds' trip to Tokyo earlier this year. One snap featured them locking lips inside Mori Building Digital Art Museum in the city, while another saw them singing karaoke. The Weeknd looked exceptionally adorable in the latter pic, rocking a red-eared headband.
"Happy birthday Angel," he simply wrote along with the images. As of now, the post has garnered more than 600,000 likes.
The Weeknd and Bella have been inseparable since getting back together this year. Both of them try to keep their rekindled relationship low-key though, as a new source reports that they learn from their past mistakes. "When they were more public, it deteriorated their relationship," the insider told Us Weekly, adding that they "are trying to be more private. They're doing well and just keeping things low key."
The Weeknd and Bella first dated in the beginning of 2015 and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2016 Grammy Awards. They split in November of the same year due to conflicting schedules. The "I Feel It Coming" singer dated Selena Gomez for nine months afterward, before going back to Bella again.
