While Prine nabs the biggest honor of the night, the latter and his band 400 units take home three awards.

AceShowbiz - Folk singer-songwriter John Prine and Jason Isbell were the big winners at the Americana Music Honors and Awards on Wednesday, September 12.
Veteran Prine was named Artist of the Year, while Isbell picked up awards for Album and Song of the Year, and his band 400 Unit landed the Duo/Group of the Year honour.
Accepting his Song of the Year award for "If We Were Vampires", Isbell thanked his wife Amanda Shires for inspiring it, confessing, "She was also the motivation for the song."
Other winners included Molly Tuttle (Instrumentalist of the Year) and Tyler Childers (Emerging Artist of the Year), while soul legend Irma Thomas, blues great Buddy Guy and k.d. lang picked up Lifetime Achievement trophies, and Rosanne Cash took home the Spirit of Americana Free Speech award.
