Calling the late rapper his 'hero,' the 'Betrayed' spitter reveals during a podcast that he plans to retire from the music industry 'after this contract.'

AceShowbiz - The death of Mac Miller is surely devastating to all of his fans, including Lil Xan. During his recent appearance on Adam22's podcast "No Jumper", the young rapper discussed how the late rapper's death affected his music career.

"The Mac s**t is crazy," he said, adding that he had been crying after learning about the news on the internet. "I've been crying in my apartment, Mac didn't die, Mac didn't overdose." Calling the "Self Care" rapper his hero, Xan stated that he didn't want to make music anymore now that Miller died.

"When your hero dies, f**k that s**t, I don't want to make music no more," he continued saying, before revealing his plan to retire from the music industry "after this contract."

Xan also recalled his last meeting with Miller, which occurred during his last show at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles, just a day before his sudden passing. Even though it was already his "third or fourth" time meeting Miller, there was one specific moment which Xan clearly remembered.

"Before I left, he was like, 'Be safe.' People say that you know, like, 'Be safe.' But he grabbed me, and he pulled me back and he was like, 'No, I mean BE SAFE.' That almost made me cry; that's my idol right there," he shared. "I keep thinking about that how it resonated in my head, how those were his last words."

Miller was found unresponsive in a bedroom inside his San Fernando Valley home at 12 P.M. local time. He was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities. His family confirmed the news in a statement and asked fans to respect their privacy during the grieving period. While his family stated that "there are no further details as for the cause of his death," reports suggested that he died of suspected overdose.
