Taking aim at the President of the United States, the singer says, 'I think he's selfish, racist, a liar probably, the worst liar we've even seen in public life.'

AceShowbiz - John Legend laid into U.S. President Donald Trump ahead of the GQ Men Of The Year Awards on Wednesday night, September 05.

John picked up the Hugo Boss Most Stylish Man gong, and was joined by wife Chrissy Teigen at the bash, held at London's Tate Modern art museum.

Dressed in a blue velvet custom Hugo Boss tuxedo, John was also in the company of a host of celebrities, including fellow Americans Jeff Goldblum and Chadwick Boseman, and Thor superstar Chris Hemsworth.

Before he arrived at the venue, the All of Me hitnaker stopped by British TV show This Morning, where he took aim at the U.S. leader.

"Yes. He deserves criticism," John began. "He's done some awful things and he's a really terrible person as well. I think he's selfish, racist, a liar probably, the worst liar we've even seen in public life. He's really ill-informed, a narcissist... I could go on!

"But I think it's clear he's an awful person and shouldn't be president."

Other big winners on the night included Black Panther stars Chadwick and Daniel Kaluuya, who took home International Man of the Year and Actor of the Year, respectively, Sacha Baron Cohen, who bagged the Editor's Special prize, and Rose McGowan, who was awarded the Inspiration Award.

Each winner took home a goody bag stuffed with ($16,800) £13,000 worth of products. Goodies included a Boss leather travel wallet by Hugo Boss, Laurent-Perrier Brut magnums, The Club at The Ivy one-year honorary membership, one night in a suite for two people at the Rosewood London hotel and a Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 electric toothbrush by Philips.
