AceShowbiz - Evan Ross is good pals with his wife Ashlee Simpson's former partners.

Famously, Ashlee dated musician Ryan Cabrera on her reality TV programme "The Ashlee Simpson Show" in the early 2000s, and later married Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz, with whom she shares a nine-year-old son named Bronx.

While Ashlee, 33, and Evan have been happily married since 2014 and are parents to a three-year-old daughter named Jagger, the actor/musician has now shared that he still gets on really well with both Ryan and Pete.

"(We are) very good," he said of Pete during an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" on Wednesday night (September 04). "He's such an amazing father. I grew up with a family with a lot of different siblings - and I think it's a beautiful thing. For me, my relationship with Pete has been amazing, he knows that I love his son very much, but it's his son - we have such a good experience with everybody."

Evan and Ashlee's personal lives are about to be put in the spotlight once again, as their E! series "Ashlee + Evan" will begin airing in the U.S. on Sunday.

And during the chat, host Andy asked the couple if they are concerned about their relationship being jeopardised by the so-called reality TV "curse".

"No, we don't (worry). For us, it's like, your relationship is your relationship, so a show, or whatever it may be, will not be the one to (break you)," answered Ashlee, to which Evan, 30, explained: "I don't think it's possible to ruin a relationship because of anything you do, I think he has to do with whether or not you're supposed to be together."

Evan also divulged that he had watched "The Ashlee Simpson Show" when it first aired and was a "big fan".

Additionally, Ashlee spoke about the sweet relationship Evan has with his mother Diana Ross and commented that her beau turns into a "cute kid" whenever he sings in front of the music legend.
