AceShowbiz - Hailey Baldwin has broken her silence on her engagement to Justin Bieber. Talking to Australia's Stellar Magazine, the 21-year-old model addresses negative comments on her engagement to the Canadian heartthrob as well as expresses her excitement about it.

"I'm beyond excited," Hailey shared in the new interview that was published on Saturday, September 1.

In addition, the blonde beauty weighed in on the "negativity" surrounding her whirlwind engagement to the "Despacito" hitmaker. "I don't think it's affected me really," she shared. "I have learned to just try my best to ignore the negativity at this time so that I can enjoy this season of my life."

Justin confirmed his engagement to Hailey in July. "Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you!" the 24-year-old wrote in Instagram alongside a romantic black-and-white snap of him and Hailey. "So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY."

"I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make. My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first!" the "Love Yourself" singer continued. "You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn't want to spend it with anybody else. You make me so much better and we compliment eachother so well!! Can't wait for the best season of life yet!"

Justin got on one knee to propose to Hailey during their romantic trip in the Bahamas. He bended knee while at a resort restaurant, where guests had been enjoying a little salsa dancing. The pop superstar reportedly had his security officials encourage other holidaymakers to put their cell phones away because the singer was planning something special. He then allegedly asked Hailey to marry him in front of the crowd of strangers, and she obviously said yes.

The young couple allegedly are planning their wedding, which is said to be held next year. It seems like their wedding will be a simple one as "neither Justin nor Hailey want a flashy showbiz type wedding." An insider also revealed that the young couple wanted "the day to be about them and their love for each other, and not just a huge celebrity packed party."
