The newlywed 'Twilight' star has been added to the cast for season two of the dance drama.

AceShowbiz - Actress Ashley Greene is putting on her dancing shoes to join the cast of YouTube Red series "Step Up: High Water".

The newlywed "Twilight" star has been added to the cast for season two of the dance drama, which is based on the popular "Step Up" film franchise.

Greene will portray an artists and repertoire (A&R) official, who heads to Atlanta, Georgia to oversee a tour staged by client Sage Odom, the founder of the city's High Water Performing Arts School.

Singer-turned-actor Ne-Yo will reprise his role as Sage from season one, alongside returning co-star Naya Rivera.

Producers have also recruited dancer-choreographer Jeremy Copeland to feature in the 10 new episodes, which will debut in 2019, while rapper Rick Ross and Broadway's Todrick Hall will make guest appearances as themselves, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The original 2006 movie starred Channing Tatum and his now-estranged wife Jenna Dewan as dancers from completely different backgrounds, who fall in love while working together.

The former couple remains involved in the show as executive producers, alongside Step Up's original producers, including filmmaker Adam Shankman.

Production on "Step Up: High Water" is currently underway in Atlanta.
