The 40-year-old country singer is up for five nominations, including Male Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year for 'Broken Halos'.

AceShowbiz - Chris Stapleton has a handful of reasons to look forward to the 2018 CMA Awards in November after leading all nominees with five nods.

The country star is up for Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year, while he'll compete for the coveted Entertainer of the Year prize opposite Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, and Luke Bryan.

The ceremony will be held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on November 14, with Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood co-hosting for the 11th year in a row.

Luke Bryan, Dan + Shay and Sugarland announced nominations for the six biggest awards on Tuesday morning (August 28) live from Bryan's restaurant in downtown Nashville.
