Fans of the late Swedish record producer can offer what the DJ and his music meant to them on the page.

AceShowbiz - Tragic DJ Avicii's parents have asked fans to share their thoughts about the star for a new digital memorial.

Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, died after apparently taking his own life in April, aged just 28, and now his family members have turned his website into a memorial page, where fans can offer up what the DJ and his music meant to them.

"Tim created music that brought people together with timeless memories from all over the world," a note on the website reads. "We created this space so you could share your memories with us and let the world know what Avicii meant to you. His music and your memories are forever."

The Swedish hitmaker's father, Klas, thanked fans for their tributes after accepting an award on his son's behalf at the Rockbjornen ceremony in Stockholm last month, when Avicii's track Without You was named Song Of The Year.

"I am happy to have been given the opportunity to be here tonight to say thank you for this amazing award...," he said, "but also, and perhaps foremost, to say thank you for all and every amazing tribute you have given Tim and his music. From all his fans and others, from churches, schools, festivals and so many more."
