The Academy Awards nominees are set to play a sibling duo Annette and Bill Shepherd in the upcoming final season.

AceShowbiz - "House of Cards" has unearthed a slew of new images from the upcoming sixth and final season. The new photos offer the first look at new cast members Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear, who have been tapped to join Robin Wright in the new season.

The first image features Wright's Claire Underwood and Lane's Annette Shepherd. They are seen in what looks like an event with POTUS rising Annette's hand as if she has won something.

Another photo sees Claire meeting Annette and Kinnear's Bill Shepherd. Annette and Bill are described as a sibling duo at the helm of a massive industrial corporation named Shepherd Unlimited. According to Netflix, the Shepherds and their corporations will be a "powerful behind-the-scenes force in the American political landscape."

The Shepherds have a complicated past with Claire and Frank Underwood, who was played by former star Kevin Spacey. It's expected that they will serve as the shadowy force to Exert Power in Washington.

The new season will see Claire taking center stage as President of the United States after Frank resigned from his position as commander-in-chief. Wright will lead the 8-part season 6 following the exit of Spacey, who was fired over sexual misconduct allegations. Production on the sixth season was halted last year following multiple misconduct allegation against the actor, which later led to him being fired from the series.

Also starring in the new season are Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott and Boris McGiver. Season 6 of "House of Cards" is slated to premiere on November 2 on Netflix.
