The 'Leather So Soft' spitter apologizes to his fellow rapper at Lil WeezyAna Fest in New Orleans, surprising the crowd.

AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne and Bryan 'Birdman' Williams' feud has seemingly come to an end after the rapper accepted his former mentor's apology over the weekend, August 25-26.

The hip-hop stars fell out in 2015 when Wayne filed a $51 million (£39.7 million) lawsuit against Bryan, his Cash Money Records label, and its parent firm Universal Music Group over money he was allegedly owed for his long-delayed album Tha Carter V.

In May, court documents showed Lil Wayne's attorney filed a legal notice stating that all sides were prepared to dismiss the lawsuit and sources told The Blast Universal executives agreed to pay to settle the case for a sum "well over $10 million (£7.8 million)."

On Saturday, August 26, the Lollipop hitmaker hosted his Lil WeezyAna Fest in New Orleans and surprised the crowd by bringing Birdman onstage, where he apologised.

"It feels amazing to be home f**king with my son, I love that n**ga to death," Birdman told the crowd about his former protege. "I don't know what y'all know but I know what the f**k I know and I know how I feel about what I know. I knew this day was gonna come but I ain't know when it was gonna come. But this n**ga right here? The best n**ga, the realest n**ga, the illest n**ga. And I wanted to apologise to my n**ga worldwide. That n**ga put his life in my hands. We're gonna do this s**t 'til the day we die (sic)."

Lil Wayne then accepted Birdman's apology before shocking the crowd with another surprise guest - Nicki Minaj.

"I want to show love for this man who gave me my career single-handedly," she said.
