The 'Chandelier' hitmaker reveals to Rolling Stone she has been struggling with body image for some time.

AceShowbiz - Sia is battling a diet obsession, confessing she can't help but think she's overweight.

The Chandelier hitmaker, who is famous for hiding her face behind outrageous wigs, tells Rolling Stone she has been struggling with body image for some time and reveals she has "dieted like crazy" so she can look like a stereotypical pop star.

Asked about her current insecurities during the new interview, the singer/songwriter says, "Mostly, 'Fat f**k, fat f**k, fat f**k. Tree trunk, tree trunk, fat f**k, fat f**k, tree trunk, tree trunk, loser, loser, fat f**k!'

"I have dieted like crazy over the last 10 years," she adds. "Trying to fit into the stereotype of, like, 'hot pop star'. Somebody did say, 'You don't have to be a model. You're actually an artist... It literally doesn't matter what you look like'."

But that doesn't appear to have helped Sia, who is also finding it hard to find true romance after ending her brief marriage to filmmaker Erik Lang in 2016.

The Australian star tells the magazine she is using dating apps to find a new man.

"I went on a couple of dates, and they were nice," she chuckles. "It was very funny, and it was great practice. I'm trying to practice intimacy 'cause we don't date in Australia. We just get together."

And she admits she is giving potential suitors plenty of opportunities to woo and wow her: "I probably go on two or three dates before I say, 'Hmm, I don't think this is my person'. It's an interesting process, dating at 42."
