AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson might be taking a break from social media right now, but that doesn't mean people can freely mock him because he has someone on his back. Ariana Grande just took aim at a sports publication, Barstool Sports, for making fun of his appearance.

The publication shared on its official Twitter account a link to an article entitled "Does Pete Davidson have butthole eyes?" For those who don't know, butthole eyes could also mean raccoon eyes where the pigmentation around the eyes is darker than the rest of the skin. Ariana obviously wasn't happy about it as she quickly hit back at the publication in the reply section.

"Y'all do kno this man has an auto immune disease.... right? ….like you do understand what you're doing when u do this right? Jus wanna make sure," she said in response, before adding in a since-deleted tweet, "P.S. 'butthole eyes' says he's still not doing ur stupid podcast you've been begging him to do for three years."

Pete was diagnosed with Crohn's diases, which in an inflammatory bowel disease that is theorized to be an immune system issue, when he was still a teenager. One symptom of the diseases is sunken eyes due to dehydration. The "Saturday Night Live" star opened up about his disease in an interview with High Times back in 2016.

During the interview, the funnyman confessed that weed was the only one which helped him eat instead of the "medicines that the doctors were prescribing me." He said, "My stomach would be in pain all day and I wouldn't be able to eat, but then I'd smoke and I can eat and do my shows. I wouldn't be able to do 'SNL' if I didn't smoke weed. I wouldn't be able to do anything really. Me performing not high has gone awful. It's awful because I don't feel well."
