AceShowbiz - Kerry Butler and Rob McClure have been cast to play a dead married couple in "Beetlejuice" The Musical.
The actors will take on the roles that were played by Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin in Tim Burton's 1988 movie. They will join Alex Brightman, who will portray the titular character, and Sophia Anne Caruso, who will tackle Winona Ryder's character, Lydia. Michael Keaton played Beetlejuice in the film.
Adam Dannheisser, Leslie Kritzer, Jill Abramovitz, Danny Rutigliano, and Kelvin Moon Loh will also appear in the pre-Broadway stageshow, which is scheduled to premiere in Washington D.C. at the National Theatre in October.
It will be directed by Alex Timbers.
