The 'Loyal' singer leaves thirsty comments on the actress' pics and one of them reads, 'Shooting my shot.'

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown is apparently on the hunt for a girlfriend as he recently flirted with some celebrities on Instagram, including Rita Ora and Ammika Harris. The most recent one who caught his attention was "Pretty Little Liars" star Shay Mitchell. The 31-year-old actress took to her account on August 22 to post a sexy photo and the "Loyal" singer jumped to the comment section.
The photo featured Shay attending the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards in her orange embroidered mini dress with a plunging neckline, which exposed her cleavage. Her dark hair was slicked back and she appeared to wear a nude lipstick. "Tried out short hair for the day... should I do it?" she asked her 20.6 million followers in the caption.
While her followers gave their suggestions for her hair, Chris left a thirsty comment instead. "Shooting my shot," the 29-year-old singer wrote with various ball emojis.
In another picture, which was posted by a fan, the "Mother's Day" actress looked beautiful in her green shimmery mini dress with her hair arranged into a ponytail. Chris wasted no time to praise her as he left another thirsty comment on the post. "She so bad!!!!! But if she taken I understand! She still fire though IDGAF!" the "With You" hitmaker said with fire, kiss and love emojis.
A source revealed that Chris publicly flirted with Shay to make ex-girlfriend Rihanna jealous. "Chris has an ulterior motive when it comes to flirting so publicly with Shay," the source told HollywoodLife.com. "He wants people talking about who he's flirting with because he knows it will get back to Rihanna."
According to the source, the Virginia-born singer himself was also jealous when the "Umbrella" songstress was linked to another man. "He gets very jealous whenever she's linked to any guy, even if there's absolutely nothing going on. Like with her and Donald Glover, that really got to Chris, it upset him," the source said.
However, the insider stated that Chris also wanted to try to take Shay out, "Chris isn't playing with Shay, he would like to take her out." The insider added, "But he could have easily keep it private, he made it public to get Rihanna's attention, he wants her to be jealous of him and Shay the way he's jealous of her and Donald."
