AceShowbiz - Miranda Lambert's boyfriend Evan Felker has finalized divorce from estranged wife Staci Felker. The Turnpike Troubadours frontman was the first to file for divorce back in May before dating the country singer. Us Weekly reported that Evan and Staci are ready to move on as their relationship is officially over.
Evan's former wife seemingly described her feeling about the divorce on Instagram. She shared a picture of herself smiling while a beautiful lake could be seen behind her. "Free on Earth," Staci captioned it. A source revealed that she finally "feels free and relieved" after the divorce.
Many other Instagram users cheered her up in the comment section. "#teamstaci in this life....character is way more important than fame/money. Shame on them and best of luck to you!!!" a follower wrote. "Next chapter. I've been in your shoes and it gets better, I promise. #movingon," one person added.
Some of them even mocked Miranda for stealing Evan from Staci, "Miranda Lambert is a husband stealer!" Another one wrote, "Miranda and Evan will not last very long. He just wants her to help him get famous." One individual, meanwhile, shared, "I was offered ML tickets free for Pittsburgh. I turned them down. The guy said he tried to sell them without success and no one wants them for free either. She is trash. Even if a married man wants to cheat, another woman should never take him! She'll get what she deserves."
Staci previously accused her ex-husband of "ghosting" her in July, stating that he would call her only to ditch her again. "I'm ultimately gonna be fine physically. Thanks for all your questions," she told her followers on the photo-sharing platform. "Aside from the ghosting and just very real #psychologicalwarfare and torture that happened earlier this year."
"A man that I perfected homemade chicken soup for when he was sick, cared for him through soooo many sweating miserable days coming off benders decided to come calling when I was happy last week," Staci continued. "Too happy. Riding and then at the beach with my girls. How dare I smile after all he did to try to break me?" she described her feelings. "I took those calls, because that's what a wife does. I'm still his wife."
"I've done everything to be a good one because deep down I thought it might change things. Less than a week later, I was sent to the hospital and couldn't reach him," Staci said. "That's not a real man. That's not a country boy and certainly no cowboy. Not a husband I'll ever take back because I was scared and he was gone. Again."
Meanwhile, Evan and Miranda were reportedly starting to spend a lot of time together while on the road since Turnpike Troubadours opened for her "Livin' Like Hippies" Tour.
