AceShowbiz - Yook Sungjae has the best response to his latest dating rumors, which claimed that he's dating DIA's Jueun. On Monday, August 13, the 23-year-old star and his BTOB's groupmates appeared on Naver V Live for "Talk Mukbang Party", just hours after the dating rumors broke and were subsequently shut down.

During the live session, Eunkwang said, "BTOB has reached #3 on the real-time search engines!" without mentioning the dating rumors. Sungjae cheekily added, "Wow, BTOB is dominating the real-time search engines today. I wonder if it's because of our V Live?" prompting Eunkwang to burst into laughter.

Sungjae then drank from a paper cup which contained a secret message to his fans. The bottom of the cup had "muk-kuem" written in Hangul (Korean alphabet). The word is short for "don't feed the trolls," which also means "don't pay attention to useless words or actions."

Netizens are loving the way Sungjae reacted to the false dating reports. "LOLOL that was the best response ever to dating rumors," one commented. Another echoed, "Probably the most refreshing response to a dating rumor ... love you, Yook Sungjae..."

Another praised him for his "smart" response. Another fan wrote, "That's so him." One other similarly wrote, "This is too funny. The best denial ever."

Reports surfaced earlier Monday that Sungjae and DIA's Jueun had been dating since January this year after meeting at a gathering with friends. But labels of both artists quickly debunked the reports. Cube Entertainment which represents Sungjae and BTOB said in a statement, "We checked with him, and it is true that they were at a gathering with acquaintances, but they are not dating."

Jueun's agency MBK Entertainment added, "It is not true that she is dating Yook Sungjae. It is true that they were recently at a gathering with acquaintances, but we have checked [with her] and found out that they are not close."

Many K-pop fans didn't believe the rumors anyway. "Can media stop doing like this to get pay attention ? Just do proper promotion OK! Don't mess it !" someone responded to the rumors. Some people even claimed that it was just a media play, since DIA will make a comeback soon.
