When asked about the matter during his interview for Esquire's September cover story, the 'Venom' star coyly responded, 'It's deeply private.'

AceShowbiz - Tom Hardy and his wife Charlotte Riley were among the celebrities who scored Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Royal wedding invitations. The two, alongside the Beckhams and the Clooneys, flocked St. George's chapel at Windsor Castle back in May.

The "Venom" actor's appearance at the big event was not totally surprising. He had been seen hanging out with the Duke of Sussex in before. But still, people would love to know how exactly the 40-year-old star nabbed the exclusive invitation to the nuptials.

When asked about the matter during his interview for Esquire's September cover story, Tom coyly responded, "It's deeply private." The actor went on adding, "Harry is a f***ing legend."

During the nuptials, Tom showed up with his head shaved fully bald. He opted for a navy tuxedo and black sunglasses. Meanwhile, his wife Charlotte looked stunning in a black floral dress. She completed her look with a black hat that featured a blue-red-and-yellow flowers, matching her dress.

Tom attended the ceremony after he wrapped the filming for his movie "Fonzo", in which he played legendary gangster Al Capone.

Tom and Harry seemingly built their friendship after the former was tapped to be an ambassador for The Prince's Trust, Prince Charles' charity for disadvantaged youth, in 2010. Later in 2017, he co-sponsored a campaign with the organization called Youth Can Do It, which helped build young people's self-esteem. Tom said at that time, "The Prince’s Trust is a charity that has always been close to my heart."

The two were also spotted having a slew run-ins at the Audi Polo Match at London's Coworth Park in 2014 and 2016. They also met at the "Dunkirk" premiere in London.
