AceShowbiz - Earlier this week, Zayn Malik announced that he would be releasing a collaborative track with Timbaland entitled "Too Much". After much anticipation, the song was released on Thursday, August 2 as promised.

Produced by Timbaland, the three-minute song features his signature electro soul beats with gauzy synths and thumping drum. "Only my mind kinda sidetracked/ Found good, but now I feel bad/ Like I know I can't take it back/ No, there's nothing I can say," the former One Direction member sings, before Timbaland lends his voice for the hook.

"Too Much" is the latest release off his upcoming sophomore album, following "Let Me", "Entertainer" and "Sour Diesel". The song was co-written by Zayn himself, Angel Lopez and Federico Vindver of Timbaland productions. Meanwhile, details of the album have been kept under wraps, but the singer recently revealed that the album had already been finished and titled.

"It's all very under wraps at the minute. I'm trying to keep it as mysterious as possible, but there's a plan with the roll out," he said in an interview with Zane Lowe of Beats 1, before teasing, "It's going to be different than anything anyone has done before."

He continued, "It's going to be interesting to see how the audience reacts to this kind of release. I wanted to try something different. I think it's all going to make sense in the end when the album finally drops."

The album will be a follow-up to his debut solo album "Mind of Mine", which hit the stores on March 25, 2016. Rumor has it, the project is due out in summer 2018.

Besides releasing songs off the album, Zayn has been unleashing a series of covers such as Beyonce Knowles' "Me, Myself and I" and Jhene Aiko's "Bed Peace". He also unveiled a cover of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love".
