AceShowbiz - Rapper YG has donated $150,000 (£115,200) to bosses at a startup company helping female computer coders.

The Who Do You Love? hitmaker handed over the cheque to GirlCodeLA officials on Wednesday, August 01, explaining he wanted to help give women a better advantage to pursue their science and technology career goals.

"Gender bias plays a role in the amount of exposure students receive in regards to technology and coding," reads a statement he issued to Billboard. "This leads to influence future decisions within their field, creating smaller opportunities for diversity.
