The items that the hip-hop star will give next month include free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts and uniforms.

AceShowbiz - Rapper 21 Savage is continuing to support his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia with his third annual back-to-school initiative.

The hip-hop star, who launched his Leading By Example Foundation earlier this year, will be giving out free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, and uniforms to returning students next month.

"Giving back to where I grew up means a lot to me. These kids need it and I use to be one of those kids," he tells Billboard. "Being able to see someone from where you from make it and come back and genuine give back will motivate these kids to do the same for their kids and the community (sic)."

The No Heart hitmaker has been steadily building on his philanthropy efforts and last month, he donated $10,000 (£7,600) to Continental Colony Elementary School in Atlanta to help fund their Anti-Bullying Campaign.

He also launched a scholarship fund for university students as part of his 21 Savage Bank Account Campaign.
