The former UFC fighter will not face prison time after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge.

AceShowbiz - Cage fighter Conor McGregor has avoided jail time for his role in a brawl after agreeing a plea deal with New York prosecutors.
The 30-year-old Irishman was charged with assault and criminal mischief after he smashed a hand truck into the window of a bus in which several rival fighters were passengers at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in April.
However, he will not face prison time after pleading guilty to a misdemeanour disorderly conduct charge at a hearing on Thursday, July 26 following a deal with prosecutors.
According to TMZ.com, he will have to complete five days of coomunity service, pay restitution for damage and attend an anger management class as part of his plea deal.
The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight and lightweight champion thanked his supporters in a statement outside the courtroom.
"I just want to say I'm thankful for the D.A. (the District Attorney) and the judge for allowing me to move forward," he said. "I want to say to my friends, my family, my fans, thank you for the support."
McGregor faced up to seven years in jail if convicted but in June his attorney told the presiding judge he and his co-defendant, the Irish fighter Cian Cowley, were negotiating a deal with prosecutors.
Video footage of the incident showed him hurling the truck at a bus full of fighters after a press conference to promote a UFC event at the Barclays Center. Several UFC stars were injured by shattered glass and unable to compete in the event.
